Are you still interested in these three questions?   Today, Tecomag from China is here to provide you with the answers.

What does magnet br mean?

Residual magnetism, commonly referred to as remanence, is one of the primary magnetic parameters of a magnet.   It is measured in Tesla (T) or Gaussian (Gs).   The full term is residual magnetic induction intensity, which describes the magnetization that remains in a magnet after it has been subjected to magnetization saturation and subsequently removed from the external magnetic field.   This residual magnetization persists in the direction of the original external magnetic field.   The level of remanence is influenced by the inherent characteristics of the magnet, including the raw materials used and the processing technology employed.

Magnetization Curve and Remanence Curve

Is a higher Br value of a magnet always better?

For two magnets of identical shape, performance level, and size, a higher remanence results in a stronger surface magnetic field strength and an increased suction force.   However, when comparing two magnets with different shapes, performance levels, and sizes, it is not possible to simply calculate the size of the remaining magnetic components based solely on the surface magnetic level.

What is the magnetic flux density (B) value at 1 Tesla (T)?

1 ton = 10,000 grams
